Malia Puchalla

Malia Puchalla joined Berrian Insurance Group, Inc. in 2007 as a Commercial Lines Compliance Coordinator. In 2013, she transitioned into the role of Senior Account Executive for middle market and risk management commercial property and casualty accounts.

She successfully completed and passed all five CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) courses, including Commercial Property, Commercial Casualty, Agency Management, Life and Health, and Personal Lines.

Her position includes the following: 

• Service Berrian’s largest commercial property and casualty middle market accounts with domestic insurers and Lloyds of London.
• Act as a liaison between insurers and clients, including the marketing, binding, claims and daily interaction with our customers.
• Compare policies for accuracy to meet our customers expectations.
• Process all client and insurance data into Leavitt Group’s Agency Management System.
• File required filings across all 50 states, as well as keep a database for all business.
• Coordinate Leavitt services across our customer base.
• Process payments received and supply documentation to our accounting team, as well as communicate to our clients when payment is past due.
